Venganza d elos aztecas

The Revenge of the Aztecs (Myths and Prophecies) is an exciting blend of pre-Hispanic, New Spanish myths and nineteenth-century legends that have shaped the Mexican identity, in line with the signs and symbols that have contributed to the formation of contemporary Mexico. Nahuales, witches and tlatoanis;Quetzalcóatl, Tezcatlipoca and Huitzilopochtli;Pedro Infante, Madame Calderón de la Barca and José Alfredo Jiménez;masked wrestling stars, old-fashioned intellectuals and pulque prophets, are some of the characters that parade through the pages of the book in a journey through primordial myths, until they collide with their metaphysical counterpart: the science fiction of prophecies.
